HTC Touch Diamond gets FCC approval with US 3G HSDPA!

Come on … you know you’ve been waiting for this one. Well, at least I know of one person (cough cough DOUG cough) who’s got his eye on this “jewel” of a device. Reviews are all over the place for this thing so I won’t bore you on those bits, and I’m sure you know that a shall not be named place on the web gives you a way to unlock the 850Mhz band on the euro versions, but it looks like the wait for a “real” US version may not be much longer as the FCC has given the green light to the Diamond. No word if you can expect a carrier to pick this up and subsidize the costs …
