EarthDrive – Helping to Save the Planet

With global warming being at the forefront of everyone’s mind, even the manufacturers are getting on the recycling/green bandwagon. ATP is doing its part with its new EarthDrive USB 2.0 flash drive. It was designed to use a maximum amount of bio-recycled plastics, which makes the drive 100% recyclable. The bio-matieral used is polyactic plastic (PLA); it is produced from cane sugar or corn starch. The drive itself is completely shock-proof, water-proof, and dust proof, and is available in storage sizes from 512MB to 16GB. The EarthDrive also supports Windows ReadyBoost to help improve your system’s performance, as well as having its own security software to password protect your data. The flash drives are available for purchase at Cosco, Wal-Mart, and Virgin Megastores. To make this device even more planet friendly, ATP is donating a portion of all EarthDrives sales to American Forest to help plant new trees. A round of applause for a company that is working to make tomorrow better.
