Contest – Splash Before School

Hmm, it appears to be Tuesday again. Well, it certainly still is Monday somewhere around the world still, so I guess I can still call this Monday. =)
This week, courtesy of SplashData comes a contest that is just slides of fun! We already know that SplashData makes fine programs such as SplashID and SplashMoney, but did you know that they ported their programs to Apple’s iPhone? No? Well, now you do and you have no excuse not to load these great apps onto your iPhone or Touch. Right-o! Let’s get our feet wet as to how to enter this contest.
1) The usual, post in this thread. 1 entry
2) Answer the question: “What time does SplashNews synchronize by defaut?” 2 additional entries
3) Answer the question: “What is your favorite waterpark?” 1 additional entry
4) Answer the question: “Where is Summit Plummit?” 1 additional entry
Contest ends on Saturday, August 2, 2008 @ 8am CST
3 winners will be selected with choices of SplashMoney, Splash Photo, SplashID, Splash Notes, Splash ID, Splash Shopper, and Snap.

Yup. Their apps should work on iPhone/iPod Touch, Palm, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile. So, any platform can apply.

Count me in for this contest. I love SplashData’s products. I have been using them for years, ever since my Palm III.

Looks like a water park themed contest.

My favorite water park is Schlitterbaum in Texas. It is old, and right on a river, and the older rides use water from the river (so it is not freezing water). It is a big park too, with buses to go to the different areas.

1. [edited by tjchan - 2 additional entries received].
2. Favorite theme park? Six Flags Great American outside Chicago (from my wastrel teen years), though Kings Island north of Cincinnati will likely replace that. Replace the favorite, not my teen years. This isn’t Kick the Can from the Twilight Zone…
3. [edited by tjchan - 1 additional entry received.] It’s the closest thing to being being flushed down a toilet there.

[not a contest entry]
Personally, my favorite waterpark is Blizzard Beach. The unlimited tubes and the tube slides were great! Though I was quite a chicken when it came to the bigger water slides. Went there during the Millenium Celebration (2000) and it was nice how the Disney passes allowed you to go anywhere – EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, all the water parks, Animal Kingdom, etc.

I used splashdata programs when I was using the Palm operating system. I really like ho easy they were to use, I especially liked Splashid. They did not make the transtition to windows mobile as fast I as would have liked.
1) [edited by tjchan - 2 additional entries received].
2) Raging Rivers in Grafton IL, we do not have much selection around here.
3) [edited by tjchan - 1 additional entry received].
