New Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone?

Are you a Walkman fan with nothing to do for three days, or is tedium just your thing? Well, I’ve got a deal for you. You can watch the clock count down at this site and refresh your knowledge  of the evolution of the Walkman phone whilst listening to a cheesy soundtrack.

I hate these sorts of promos. Somehow companies think we have time to waste and are vacuous enough to sit around and watch a clock countdown timer. So there’s a new Walkman phone available, but who has the time to watch a countdown like this?

No one, is the answer. Doesn’t anyone learn from Apple’s iPhone strategy: leak it, don’t try to preview it!
