For the past two years, JAMM has always been here for all of your Windows Mobile needs, with a smattering of other coverage on the side.  Well, as I have been saying for the last few weeks, we are planning to expand our coverage, to bring the same JAMM news, views, and reviews to other platforms as well.  It has only been a few weeks, but our team has been slowly rising to the task of transforming JAMM.

In addition to our regular and ongoing coverage of Windows Mobile, we also have four writers covering the iPhone/iPhone 3G and iPod Touch (well, almost four, my iPod Touch shipped today.)  So, you should start seeing a lot more coverage of those devices, as well as reviews of the already well populated iPhone software store.

So, we have those areas more or less covered, but that still leaves a vast landscape of mobiliy that JAMM is either not currently covering, or could use some additional help.  Read on to find out how you can help.

We currently have two writers JAMMing on Palm Centros. Some people feel that Palm has been left behind in the wake of Windows Mobile, iPhone, and others.  Is the Palm still relevant?  Sue and Lauren aim to find out, but they could certainly use your help.  There is a lot of great Palm software and hardware out there for you to review.

We also have some plans to expand our Symbian coverage (in all of its flavors and varieties) and should have at least one Symbian writer very shortly.  Again, though, there is a lot of fantastic Symbian software and hardware, and we are looking for experienced users to help guide us through the Symbian landscape.

Of course, I have not mentioned Blackberry.  Believe it or not, with over a dozen people on our team here at JAMM, none of the owns a Blackberry.  This is an area in which we are eager to expand, especially with several new Blackberry devices coming soon.  If you are a Balckberry enthusiast, we need your help.

Finally, down the road, we hope to expand into the Android platform once that gets underway.  And we are always expanding our coverage of accessories, portable media players, and all things mobile.
