So you know the launch of the iPhone 3G is only minutes away in some parts of the world, and speculation has been running wild for days as to when the iPhone 2.0 software would go live. Well the software upgrade for the iPhone and Touch are not quite live yet (Rumour has it at 12pm EST), but that hasn’t stopped Apple from releasing iTunes 7.7 and along with it – the AppStore!

As if I didn’t have iPhone fever already … along comes this update which is starting to really turn me into a cranky soul because I can’t have it yet.

For example — I actually cheered (Yes, I’m a geek) when I saw this:

Now, truthfully I didn’t see it on the Apple App Store first … my little cheer went up when I saw it on (one of my new favorite sites) whatsoniphone.com. Whatsoniphone.com is a great site run by one of our good friends which is focused on letting you know about the newest apps for Apple’s iPhone. And let me tell you – I’m impressed. The App Store has been live for maybe a couple hours and these guys already have 70+ application screenshots (and growing by the minute).

Crap … that sounded like an ad didn’t it? Not so … they didn’t pay for that. The little cheer I let out told me I had to share with others.
