eWallet Gets More Customizable in 6.1 Update
Posted by: weiganla on Jul 10 2008
Our friends at Ilium have just released an update to their terrific program eWallet. When I reviewed eWallet 6.0 in a head-to-head with Spb Wallet, I thought one of its major advantages was how easy it was to change field names. Version 6.1 ups the ante by letting you define whether each field is a phone number, live email or web link, hidden password, etc. to make eWallet smarter.
Other new and improved features:
Get quick access to your most-used cards: create card shortcuts and build a Favorites folder for the info you want to open fast.
Design the background you want for every card: choose a gradient or solid color, add one of our free background images or create your own!
Search smarter: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you’re looking for.
Save time and make custom templates fast: creating and editing your card templates is now easier than ever.
Work faster on a non-touchscreen device: Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone) users can now enjoy easier card editing on their devices.
eWallet 6.1 is a free upgrade for 6.0 users — just install it straight over what you have. Older version owners are eligible for a discount, and users of other wallet programs can get a markdown on a competitive upgrade. Otherwise, it’s $19.95 for a Windows Mobile touchscreen, Windows Mobile non-touchscreen, Palm, or PC copy, or $29.95 for mobile + PC.
