You wont have to deal with that company that will remain unnamed, that has apparently ruined the iPhone experience north of the border. Looks like Telus, has got the drop on the HTC Touch Diamond on the side of the pond that’s not Europe. Although it’s a CDMA version, and you’ll have to sign up for a three year contract (Eek), if the Diamond is forever, for you, you’ll be migrating for sure.

If you’ve been following the news you’ll know it’s an awesomely speced WinMo device, It’s got a 528 MHz processor, ROM: 256 MB
RAM: 192 MB DDR SDRAM and WM 6.1, nothing to be sneezed at there right?

So how did Canada manage to wangle the first release of the Diamond?

Today Telus is announcing it will be the first carrier on this side of the pond to carry the HTC Touch Diamond.
