Windows Mobile, Death Knell or Phoenix rising from the ashes?

Posted by: Peter Murphy on Jul 02 2008

You know the Windows Mobile platform is the most advanced mobile platform going. Although it takes the inclusion of a lot of software and tweaks to make it so. Many of us have baulked at having to include the .net CF, because it’s bulky, to enable a lot of the third party applications we want to use, but software support like that is what keeps your device going. So where do you think windows mobile is going?

When you think that we are almost a week away from the second coming of the “JesusPhone” could there be a saviour for windows mobile?

Possibly there is, … J Allard is now the
WM Death or Phoenix“Chief Experience Officer” and “Chief Technology Officer”, as such he is responsible for the online, and well everything windows mobile.

So let us and him know what doesn’t work for you with windows mobile and see if the chic Allard responds.

J Allard is responsible for the technical architecture and user experiences related to products and services of the Entertainment and Devices (E&D) division. Allard works closely with technical leaders across the company to align E&D product teams with Microsoft’s overall services strategy and product architecture, and drives the technical and design agenda to deliver Connected Entertainment experiences for consumers.

The question I want to ask you all is do you think this will make a difference?

So Alllard is know in charge of windows mobile, is it to little too late? or will we see updates sooner than we think

The question I want to ask you all is do you think this will make a difference?
