Netfront Surprises…

Posted by: Peter Murphy on Jul 01 2008

If any of you have tried out the Netfront Browser from Access, you’ll know that they are at the fore front of mobile browser technology. So I’ve posted on the latest concept version more than once, but today there’s a new Beta that adds widgets to the Netfront Browser.

Most of us would be familiar with widgets with our desktop browser, and Access are introducing a mobile version that works with their mobile browser. Unexpected and surprising, but another step in the direction of adding desktop usability to the mobile environment.

A New Beta from access is delivering a limited range of widgets that you can add to the Netfront Mobile Browser.

This is a step in the right direction for handheld browsing, one of the things that most of us are looking for is more of a desktop experience on the handheld. Don’t hang around check this out  and see if you like it.
