Virgin Mobile….$79.99. No Contracts. No Activation. No Commitment Necessary.

When I set off to write this post, I gleefully had thoughts in my head of 79 Virgins you would receive for signing up for this plan.  But really, they were all just too easy.  So, crude comments aside, this really does look like an extremely nice deal, as Verizon becomes the latest carrier to offer an unlimited service plan.  At only $79.99, here is what you can expect:

  • Totally Unlimited Calling for $79.99/Month
  • Call Any Number, Any Network
  • No Activation Fees
  • No Roaming or Long-Distance Charges
  • Pay with Cash, Credit or Debit
  • Add Unlimited Text & Messaging for $10/Month
  • Adjust Your Plan Anytime

If you want text messaging, that will cost you another $10, but still not a bad deal at all.  Of course, Virgin is able to offer all of this because they are a prepaid carrier only.  That means you have to pay for your minutes up front, but it also means no obnoxiously long two and three year contract commitments.  So, if you are looking for a new phone and are the type who can’t even commit to watching an entire season of any TV show, well then you might want to check out Virgin’s fantastic new $79.99 unlimited plan.

Check it out on Virgin’s website for more info.[via Gear Diary]
