What’s On An iPhone?
Until recently, asking that question would have been met with a bunch of blank stares. IPhone? But the iPhone is a locked device. So, this should be an easy question. What you see is what you get. Sure, there have been jailbreaks, but that is not necessarily for everyone. So, for the average user, you were pretty much stuck with the package Apple gave you. Well, all of that is about to change with the new iPhone model. For the first time, the iPhone will be completely open to third party developers The SDKs have been out for a while now and the applications are about ready to roll.
The question you will soon be asking is what all is out there. What can I put on my iPhone? Well, our own Rabbi Dan has the answer. Dan and a few of his friends are launching a new site, today, called Whatsoniphone.com. The new site is devoted to be a one stop resource for all of the upcoming applications for your iPhone. So, check them out. And tell Dan I said hello while you are there. And for all of you Rabbi Dan fans, don’t worry, everyone’s favorite Rabbi is not going anywhere, you will still be able to find plenty of his reviews right here on JAMM.
So, join me in congratulating Dan as he kicks off his new endeavor. And for you iPhone users about to enter the fray of third party applications, let us know what you are looking for on you iPhone? Maybe Dan and the whatsoniphone team can help point you in the right direction.
