I’ve created my SugarSync account mostly because my wife could not keep proper backups of her notebook. The SugarSync client silently copies the most recent version of her documents to “the cloud” without effort.
But the beauty of the solution is that by syncing the folder with my desktop, she can even leave the notebook at the office and still work at home! Next day the modified files will be magically updated.
And if she is working at a client and runs out of batteries, she can access her files through any browser, or even send them by e-mail using her smartphone.
I’ve recently started including our digital photos folders to SugarSync, and found out that it is great for sharing. My mother can easily see her grand daughter’s most recent pictures and I can show them all as albums to anybody using my 3G Windows Mobile phone.
The only problem is that my account is only 10GB, and pictures take a lot of space…30GB would be definitely welcome!

I could definitely use a SugarSync Subscription. I work at three different locations and almost weekly notice that I have forgot to take with me something which is on another computer. Constantly mailing documents doesnt help, this just compeletely fills up my email account and documents are (in an inbox) of course very difficult to retreive. In other words: Count me in for this contest!

This would be great, especially for off-site backups/syncs.
Things like work documents, photos, etc.
Could be a lifesaver if anything unexpected happens to your files.

SugarSync would definitely be great for photo backups because we all know losing your stuff sucks.

I would love to give SugarSync a try. I’ve been seriously considering some sort of online backup and sync tool. I’m always travelling and this would help keep all of my files from my home and work pcs, laptop, ppc and iphone all sync’d and/or available to me at all times in all places.
I would love this for my PPC and for my soon to be future iPhone. Thanks for the opportunity. and excellent review.
