NormSoft…Pocket Tunes
I posted a look at Pocket Tunes a couple of days ago, that, well didn’t really put the application in it’s best light. I had problems with it and I documented those problems. Since then it stopped working all together for me. I’ve had great support from NormSoft, and hopefully I’ll be able to get it running as it’s supposed to, I’m notorious for breaking applications, it’s one of the things I do well. Not a chosen vocation though.
So to come across a review that shows the app in it’s true light, that showed how it should work if you’re not me, I thought I’d share it.
So hit up the link for the low down on Pocket Tunes, that I haven’t been any where in the vicinity of.
So have a look

I used to use this back in my Palm OS days and thought I’d try it on WM. Sorry to say it’s not my cup of tea.
I listen to audiobooks and podcasts which often have long names. When adding a song to the playlist or choosing a file, you can’t view the complete names. This becomes a real problem when the only thing that distinguishes the filename is the last character. For example, my card currently has the following files:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 2.mp3
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 3.mp3
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 4.mp3
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 5.mp3
In Pocket Tunes, these are shown as:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Hmmm…. which one shall I listen to?
Additionally, the bluetooth headphones support *is* present but it’s not very good. I had to go through the menu and select it every time I wanted to use my Plantronics headphones (Windows Media Player just recognizes them and proceeds).
There were other issues too but I’ve removed it from my PDA for now. Maybe v2.0 will get another try.

Melvyn, if you take the spaces out of the file name for the numeric s does that change? Just off the top of my head
