Astraware un-earths Golden Skull 1.11 for PPC (Possibly on heels of latest Indy movie?!)

image Astraware’s new version of Golden Skull (released in April) adds four difficult new levels and a few bug fixes to the mix. As for what the gameplay actually entails, I’m really not quite too sure. It’s not even for too much lack of trying here: the website simply says that I can "journey through Mayan pyramids and long forgotten ruins in this puzzle adventure game" and shows me pictures of screens that look like Bejeweled. So I suppose this is less about me being able to talk a bit about a new game update, but more of me feverishly trying to keep our dear readers up to speed on the latest and greatest in mobile news — whether I fully understand it or not!

So wait, what have I really said here? It’s like one of those times I head to the fridge for ice cream and come back with only a spoon.

Golden Skull is basically a Jawbreaker clone with a couple of additional features and a storyline.

ah, thanks PointOfLight

I take it you don’t mean the candy that lasts for hours on end and turns into different flavours.

*looks up Jawbreaker*

Wait a minute…don’t we already have something like this on WM..Bubble Breaker? :|

Yes, you do :) But for those of us old enough to still be running WM2003, it was called Jawbreaker. Apparently Microsoft renamed it with the release of WM5. The main differences in Golden Skull are that there’s an actual plot (albeit a weak one), and as you get rid of pieces, new ones fall from the top of the screen (I don’t recall that happening in Jawbreaker). Oh, and you also have to collect coins.
