WM 6.1 coming to the Kaiser! Tilt not far behind?…


imageKaiser owners that are fans of threaded SMS and dot release upgrades (we’re very specific here at JAMM), you’re going to love this news! The newest version of Windows Mobile is coming as an official upgrade to the HTC Kaiser. Apparently 6.1 isn’t just about threaded SMS, but adds better power management and performance improvements to the OS. Those kinds of changes are always welcome!

Does anyone consider over 6 months as not far behind? It was a long wait for AT&T to get the WM6 update out for the 8525 after the Tytn update. It’ll probably be the same for the Tilt.

I absolutely do consider that to be very far behind. 6 months is too long, and I’m of the opinion that WM6.1 is a bit late overall anyway for the amount of content it offers.

I just added that “not far behind…” as some optimism and me wondering out loud :)

Yep, you are an optimistic one ;)
But, alas, knowing AT&T, it’ll be quite a while before the Tilt update is released. I was hopeful that it would occur in late August. I am due for an upgrade then. :D
