Spb Online Shell does what exactly?..
Let’s tackle this one together, folks. You can tell me if I’m wrong because I can’t quite make heads or tails of what they’re saying. Spb Software seems to have unveiled something at CeBIT Australia that is based on the Mobile Shell architecture (yaaaay). The Online Shell is a gateway app of sorts, helping users access carrier content like games, music, and videos more easily, and probably helps the carriers get more traffic due to the greater ease-of-use. I’m afraid that without any kind of screenshot or video this all seems pretty vague to me.
The only thing I can really imagine here is a sort of marketplace on your today screen. This would make it just a couple of clicks to download a new ringtone or game to your phone, and all from the comfort of your today screen (or that beautiful pull-down menu from the latest Mobile Shell 2). Any thoughts? I’m just rambling in the dark here
