Logitech soon to offer Pure-Fi Mobile: wireless, mobile box of boom.

Let’s face it: there are times when the tunes or the voices  coming out of your phone just won’t cut it. Most phone speakers are mono and they’ll sound like a deaf, mini tin can-playing band that tries to break every song you ask them to play. Now I’m all for mobility and devices being pocketable and small, but sometimes (like when it comes to music played out loud) you just need the big guns.

So when I was surfing on Solsie.com today I was really happy to come across the Pure-Fi Mobile from Logitech (my favourite company for computer peripherals — fantastic customer support). It’s got three inputs: A2DP Bluetooth, USB connection to laptops, and then a 3.5mm line-in. It’s got a 12-hour rechargeable battery so that you can play music for half a day before plugging it in (great for those mobile phone raves that just break out at the office!)

Here’s a link to the product site, so you can eventually scoop it up for $149.99 [images from Logitech site].
