Something for the Skinheads!

No Clock Work Orange references today, I’m talking about the type of skins that may win you a HTC Touch. When I reviewed Resco Keyboard 5.0 back in January, I commented on the amount of nice looking skins included. I know of a few people who have been designing their own skins for the SIP as well, now they can take advantage of their knowledge.

Resco (www.resco.net), the leading developer of end-user mobile applications, announced today the start of its “Best Skin Contest” for their popular software input panel application — Resco Keyboard Pro. Starting today for the period of one month, users will be able to add their own skins and thus participate in the contest. Everyone who submits their own, original skin automatically gets a free license of Resco Keyboard PRO. People will be able to download, try out and since May 23, 2008 vote for the skin they like the most. The winners will be announced in mid June.

Prizes:

  1. Winner — A brand new device — HTC Touch
  2. First runner up — Resco Media Suite and Resco Brain Suite
  3. Second runner up — Resco Media Suite

Hehe don’t post about this too much! ;) The less competition, the better for me. ;)

On the other hand, the more skins, the better. And if you post that example, I can’t complain! :D
