What the Heck is Pachinko? PDAmill Wants You to Find Out
It’s been busy lately with game releases, and now PDAmill is adding another into the mix. Pachinko Go! is an arcade game based on an extremely popular Japanese game that PDAmill says is "kind of a cross between a vertical pinball game and a slot machine." Ah, that clears everything up.
Okay, it doesn’t. But the demo video might.
- Professional Art, Graphics, Menus, and Animation enchance the visual experience
- Three Unique Games available to play, each with their own graphics, art, sounds, music and difficulty!
- Intuitive controls that make full use of Windows Mobile touch screen
- Catchy Soundtrack with over 15 minutes of music and more than 60 sound effects and voices
- Pachinko Store in-game allows you to purchase over 15 Extras including Eye-candy effects, Game Bonuses and Concept Art!
- Auto-save automatically saves your progress when you exit, so you can continue where you’ve left off!
This is something different for PDAmill, but with their track record I’m looking forward to trying it out.

I grew up playing Pachinko as a teenager in Japan (my Dad was stationed there with the Navy at the time). As sson as I noticed this game was out, I purchased a copy from PDA Mill. As usual from PDA Mill, it is a polished and stable product right from the v1.0.
“Pachinko, Go!” really does manage to capture the hybrid pinball/slots attributes of Pachinko played in huge Pachinko parlors all over Japan. (Think casinos….but substitue slot machines with upright Pachinko machines.) It’s a bit of luck, a bit of wily strategy, a bit of nimble tactics…..definitely a unique experience. Definitely worth a try….and well worth the paltry sum that PDA Mill charges for it right now ($9.95 USD).
