Ferrari Phone!

vertu1_narrowweb__300x316,2 When I think of the Ferrari phones that have been released over the years, I think of a meeting of design and beauty. Like the Nokia/Vertu phone pictured, classy and well deserving of the Ferrari branding. Released in September 2007, it was way out of most of our price ranges for a device, topping out at the cash register for a whopping A$25.400.

Yeah a little bit steep for a phone I know. Now lets look at the latest Ferrari phone, and wonder at it’s simplicity.

The F1 Phone, designed to resemble the Ferrari, even has some moderately impressive specs for a novelty cellphone. Offering dual-band support (900/1800 MHz), a 2.2-inch touch-sensitive LCD display with 260k colors, a music player with equalizer, a video player, a camera for maximum picture size of 1280 x 1024 pixels and even a video recorder, along with an assortment of other goodies. You can get yours for around $190.

A Bargain I hear you saying!

Need I say any more than that. Don’t think this is officially sanctioned, do you? Clearly a novelty but it’s cute. I wonder if you can get a case for it, or have to order a really small car bra?
