Skyfire Gets ‘Doesn’t Suck’ Endorsement from Gizmodo

Skyfire Windows Mobile web browser

We saw it on two different devices, though most of our time was on a Sprint HTC Mogul. Besides rendering media-heavy Giz with surprising snap (a feat that made the Instinct’s browser cry), it churned out YouTube and Hulu videos like a champ.

Gizmodo put in some hands-on time with the new and much-talked-about Skyfire web browser at CTIA, and have given it a ‘definitely doesn’t suck’ endorsement.  The comment above and their overall experience with Skyfire is another clear thumbs-up for the Windows Mobile browser that is currently still in limited beta.

Speaking of the beta, Mobility Site recently had some good news on all those waiting to get into it and give the software a try.  Apparently everyone should get in by the end of April …

What do you all think of Skyfire?  Have you had a chance to try it out yet?
