Opera Mini 4.1 beta

 

Just trying to keep up with all the CTIA news this week, has got my inbox full of unlooked at press releases, and it’s time the fat lady sang now!

Opera today released the beta preview of Opera Mini, the newest version of the award-winning browser that works on almost every mobile phone. Opera Mini 4.1 improves the way Opera Mini interacts with your phone to make browsing more convenient, more productive and definitely more fun. Opera Mini is available to download for beta testing at http://www.operamini.com/beta

Now apparently 50% faster, though that’s not noticeable because it’s a server side implementation, that’s been happening incrementally since 4.0. It’s always been slick anyway. URL auto complete, offline viewing, word and phrase search within web pages and download and upload support from within Mini.

Seriously if you aren’t already an Operaphile, Mini 4.1 may convert you to classical!
