Free PocketCM Keyboard 0.14 — no time limit!
Anybody who’s ever read any of my reviews has probably seen me blow big fanboy kisses at tene’s PocketCM Keyboard. I think it’s one of the greatest, if not the greatest SIP available for WM. Once you find the right skin the thing can be as big or as small as you like, and it’s got incredible speed. It’s as fast as the iPhone’s keyboard (now that I own one I can attest to this) and is just as much fun to use. I really miss being able to define (and delete) the words in my dictionary with PCMK
Anyhow, the biggest issue up to this point was that tene time-locked his PCMK versions, so you had to keep going online ever month or month-and-a-half to get a new version since yours would shut down. This was a blessing and a curse since you’d be getting new features, but some users found it to be a bit of a pain to have to keep updating when things were already working so well. With this latest version you get even cooler features (auto-complete and gesture support!), a speed increase, and the removal of the time limit!
I highly recommend everybody who loves SIPs to get themselves a copy of PCMK. The website’s forums have a ton of different skins and all you need to do is unzip the skin files into the PCMK directory on your device, load the skins up, and enjoy!

Hey, that’s pretty nifty freeware. I’m going to give it a spin and see how it compares to my Calligrapher & Resco SIPs.

I wish they had more VGA support. I used PCMK for a few days on my Axim x51v and the exactly one functional skin I could find didn’t speed me up, but if the iPhone-style skin goes VGA I’d give it another shot.

That’s only because the Internet has been waiting for YOU to take up the torch and design the most beautiful VGA skin the world has ever seen. Go Lauren, Go!

If they’re waiting on me, they’re going to be waiting a while.
