HTC Touch Dual to hit US this quarter!
I’m sure you’ve all heard about the HTC Touch Dual already, but did you know it is coming to America with Windows Mobile 6.1? So you can enjoy your slide-out keypad and TouchFlo with your new threaded messaging support!
I definitely think HTC is onto something here with their new breed of Touch phones and I hope they keep the interface evolving. The original Touch had a beautiful, simple design, and I’m glad they kept some of that look for this model. SPB’s Mobile Shell 2 has showed them how to make an even better "cube-like" interface, so I can’t wait for HTC’s return salvo to hit with a newer version of a TouchFlo interface.
Btw — is it just me, or is anyone else bugged by the fact that there’s no wi-fi? I know data plans are awesome, but wi-fi is just fast and simple. Why not just include it?

Bugged like an abandoned picnic. I honestly think it’s a carrier conspiracy to make everyone shell out obscene amounts of money for data plans.

Seriously. And with so many people having wi-fi access in homes or public places, it really is a viable alternative to a data plan. Poo on HTC for not including!
