ZoomBoard gets an Upgrade.
ZoomBoard, the zoomable finger friendly software input program from Vito Technology, has today been taken up a notch. ZoomBoard has now been upgraded to version 2.0, and it looks like a major improvement, addressing a lot of the things that my initial foray into it’s nuances, left me wanting more. Also not forgetting Ragart’s [Thomas's] Review back in January. So what’s changed in this new version
3 different types of zooming: full zoom, lens zoom, float zoom.
SmartZoom. When enabling this option it is possible to zoom the pressed letters either immediately or with a delay.
Better gesture support
Significant increase of layouts. Alongside the layouts that were available in the previous version (English, Russian, German and some others) 32 layouts for other languages have been added.
landscape mode now adjusts to the landscape screen, stretching and enlarging to adjust to the different format.
So if you haven’t tried it out give it a shot, these improvements are really worth a look.
Available from http://www.iwindowsmobile.com/, or the JAMM Store for $9.95.
Addendum: Thanks to spmwinkel for letting me know registration for ZoomBoard1, works with the upgrade at the moment. there were no details in the press release to indicate one way or the other? Download now in case that changes!
