I love college basketball all the time, but there’s not much else in the entire sports world that comes close to the NCAA championship. 64 teams (ok, 65). Single elimination. Six rounds. Winner takes all — the title of National Champion. And oh boy, they call it March Madness for a reason. Underdogs, overtimes, last-second shots, upsets, Cinderellas, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, seasons and careers coming down to whether a ball on the rim falls into the bucket or rolls off.

Sorry. Got a little excited there.

The United States of America pretty much shuts down for two weeks until the tourney is over. The first part of the tradition is watching hours of games between teams you’ve never heard of just because it’s the Big Dance. The second part is blindly guessing the winners of every game and entering bracket pools, then obsessively following your picks. So we here at JAMM thought we’d combine a great sporting tradition with what we do best — give away stuff.

Deadline for entries is Wednesday, March 19 at 7:00 pm CST. It’d be cool if you leave a comment, too, just so everyone can see who’s playing. I’ll send you an invitation to join our free, private, online bracket pool on CBS Sports. If you don’t have an account with their website you’ll have to create one, but it’s fast and free. Then enter the password for the JAMM group and make your picks!

The bracket with the highest score at the end of the tournament wins a case of their choice from javoEDGE. We also have several fantastic runner-up prizes, not all of which will be tied to bracket scores — more details on those later! JAMM staff can have brackets but only to show off our bracketology prowess, because we rock like that.
