Take note(s): Shifd

We were informed of this bit by the awesome Solsie.com.

Shifd is a new (free) beta service that allows you to keep your notes and reminders synced, even when on the go. You can text yourself a quick note about something you want to remember and it will end up on your computer browser when you visit the site. They’ve also got mobile optimized websites and even got a downloadable app (for Macs and PC’s).  Check it out here!

This service definitely looks cool, especially for those with unlimited or huge text message plans. Nothing simpler than shooting off a quick text, and it’s even better if you can use it for record keeping :D

I imagine the service is also extremely cool for users who own a crackberry, Mac, iPhone, and Windows laptop — but I’m really just saying that because of the coloured diagram from their site that shows them all connected.

I think that Jott does the same thing.

Just took a quick peek at Jott. I think the diff is Jott is voice-based (which sounds cool, although never trusted voice based stuff enough) whereas this one is based more on SMS data entry.
