Goodbye and Good Luck…
Posted by: dgoldring on Mar 13 2008It is with no small amount of sadness that I am announcing this will be my last post at JAMM. Lately, it has become increasingly clear that my interests have diverged significantly from those of the site. There is no single event which led to this, however, as this divergence grew, it became more apparent to me that the time to move on had arrived. I want to thank all of our readers, commenters, and contest participants for making my time here at JAMM so worthwhile and memorable. I also want to thank all of the developers, vendors, and manufacturers, with whom I worked so closely to write many of these reviews.
Of course, I would be remiss if I did not mention the JAMM staff, who are some of the best and hardest working people with whom I have had the pleasure of working. Most of all, I want to recognize Patrick for giving me the opportunity to join this community and take on a leadership role with this site. He placed a great deal of trust in me, and I hope I lived up to his expectations.
Of course, Goodbye is never goodbye forever, especially on the Internet. So, I welcome you all to join me over at Gear Diary, where I will continue providing you with reviews of Windows Mobile software, accessories, and devices; and much more.
Thank you all. Goodbye and Good luck…

Sorry to hear that you’re leaving, Doug. I will certainly follow your posts on geardiary, however.
Best of luck!
The grass is always greener…
Good luck.
Good luck Doug
I look forward to reading your articles on Gear Diary.
Cheers, Doug!
and
Good luck Doug, I sincerely hope and wish that you can write in the environment you feel best in. In particular I hope that this doesn’t mean that the freeware roundup will end since I thoroughly enjoy it. As for the application and (possible even more) the game reviews, I’m sure you’ll keep writing those on GD as well, so I’m not too worried about those.
All the best, and I’ll see you at GD.
Doug, you’ll be sorely missed friend, but if it’s time, it’s time. Thanks for the great posts, and great guidance, you’ve really taught me a hell of a lot!
I look forward to reading (and linking to) your articles on Gear Diary too.
Doug, it was a pleasure writing with you - you taught me a lot…and in more areas than just writing. I’ll be reading your posts on GearDiary.
