Ladeez and iPhone users, look away…Now!
As I’m a genuinely sensitive new age guy, and incredibly politically correct, I was surprised today, by Apple SDK news and a little article at Solsie, about sports illustrated for WinMo. When I saw sports illustrated, I thought well semi nude women, in swimsuits, downloaded regularly for, oh you know what blokes are like. Guess what the SI app, is actually focusing on sport
- Scores, schedules, standings for your 4 favourite teams
- View the week’s best photos
- Add important games to your Outlook calendar
- Update your favourite teams as the seasons change
Available for download HERE!
If you think my libido was boosted at the thought of SI girl updates every day, then you’ll know that viagra ain’t gonna help with this Apple SDK news.
That’s right you can only run one app on your iPhone at a time, post.[after] the SDK agreement. Seems there are some limitations for third party apps at the moment, or the legalese got a bit misinterpreted. Patrick’s got a post that explains the limitations of the SDK, at the moment at JaiB, and I originally read about this at Gizmodo, we all know lawyers suck, and I hope they resolve this!

I downladed this SI applet. It is really pretty nice. My only complaint is that you can only follow four teams at a time. It tracks 6 leagues, so it should give you at least enough spots for 1-2 in each league. I would say 8-10 teams would be more ideal. Otherwise, very easy to use and well done.

That’s cool, of course it’s no good to me, but it’s slick. I like how it looks and easily configurable!
