Uncle Bill, not the richest man in the world anymore.

After reigning as the richest man in the world for a measly 13 years, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is now ranked No. 3 in the world. Gates, who is now ONLY worth $58 billion, is trailing Warren Buffet, and Carlos Slim Helu for the title, richest man.

He is up $2 billion from a year ago and would have been perhaps as rich — or richer — than Buffett had Microsoft not made an unsolicited bid for Yahoo (YHOO, news, msgs) at the beginning of February. (Microsoft is the publisher of MSN Money.)

LOL, Charlie. I think I did the math correctly here. My net worth is roughly 1/1,000,000,000 that of Bill Gates. However, I am up $2 from this time last year. :)

Well, your net worth is still about $1 more than mine. Based on my calculation I think it will only take me another milennium to at least be a millionaire.
