Don’t Test and… Text!!!

With the advent of smaller and smaller devices, and the everyday pressure to succeed in today’s competitive world, this was inevitable. A High school student in Thailand used a mobile phone/watch to cheat in university entrance exams, triggering a country wide ban on students wearing any sort of watch during exams. Apparently he had paid other students who had taken the exams the week before, to text him the answers via his watch/phone.

"I have ordered the 18 examination centers nationwide to ban students wearing all kinds of watches to the exams this weekend," senior ministry official Sumate Yamnoon told reporters.

I wonder what gave his nefarious activity away, probably those annoying message alert tones he had downloaded. Indicative of a country where university places are scarce, at least he should gain some kudos for ingenuity. As another senior government minister remarked

"Cheating techniques have developed along with technology advancement. What will students use next year after the mobile phone wrist watch this year?"

As baffling as it may seem, if the technology is available it will be utilised in as many ways as people can imagine. The said phone/watch, readily available from PhoneOne and marketed as a premium mobile device, has some pretty impressive features. Don’t get caught!
