Valentine’s Day Bargain, don’t they make a sweet couple!
We all love a bargain right, and what’s the ultimate bargain? Free, did I say that loud enough, SOMETHING FOR FREE ! You know the only thing mobile here is a free give away of a 2 Gb USB drive, that supposedly comes in the form of a, wait for it, bracelet. Do you think the boys are looking pleased or frustrated?
A marketing initiative involving Novell and Microsoft, has thrown up a give away that is, well amazing. How often would you think Microsoft will give something away for nothing. This is like coming out of a coma, after twenty years. You would find it hard to deal with how the world has changed, as I find it hard to believe I can fill in an online form and get a free gift from Microsoft.
Does any one else think that photo is freaky?
Or that the M$ Linux collaboration, is another monopolising strategy, or bail out?
Either way Hovsepian and Ballmer look ingenuously, happy, business agreements, do not a match made in heaven make!
The thing is, they are offering a mobile data solution for free, and I would urge everyone to take advantage of it while it lasts.
You can go to this link
http://www.moreinterop.com/collaboration/
and follow the prompts and fill out a form, and get this reassurance
I’d really like to know how many of you get your valentines from Microsoft for filling in this form!

I filled out the form. I’ll check back and let you know if I get anything. But basically, the drive looks like it comes up with some fairly mundane ads for other stuff they want you to buy. Shouldn’t be too hard to reformat.
