Just have to get my wife to use my PDA to put the shopping list in it. For my once a week grocery shopping list.

Every Tuesday my grandma goes grocery shopping, particularly because it’s Banana Tuesday; they are on sale for 19 cents a pound at Food4Less in my area. I’m almost sick of bananas, having ate a banana practically every day for the past year and a half since I moved in with my grandma. By the time the next Tuesday rolls around, the 1 or 2 remaining bananas have an almost gut wrenching consistency to them.

I practically never go out for grocery shopping since I still live with my mom who does the shopping. Last weekend my girlfriend and I made a pie and also took care of diner though, so we had to buy the ingredients for that!

Another fun Monday from JAMM!!!
I almost never go shopping, as my wife does it during the day while I am at work. But, she occasionally has me stop at Caputo’s on the way home from work. (Caputo’s is a great store with tons of fresh produce; and lots of stuff I am not sure what to do with.)
Thanks for the fun!!!
Augie, I heard a story on NPR about bananas; they have some disease, and in about 10 or 20 years bananas as we know them will no longer be available!!!!! (we’re breakfast banana addicts at my house)

Shop once a week!? What a dream! I have 5 kids and I’m in the grocery store 2 to 4 times a week! And the Schwanns guy delivers some food every other week. Aaaaaaggggggghhhhh!
Just as a reference, we go through about 5 gallons of milk a week. Everybody eats a different kind of cereal. And my oldest will eat 3 pounds of colby-jack cheese a week if you let her. (We don’t.)
7 people in a 1800-square-foot house. I’m always a little punch drunk.

I shop several different stores various days of the week depending on what I need. There are some stores I would never buy produce and bananas from and others where I would never go near the meat department. Splash Shopper would make this saner but won’t get any of the good looking butchers to deliver. 20 years ago when I lived in North Beach…
Thanks for having the contest JAMM and SplashData!

I’m one of the disorganised ones. I shop whenever I run out of something, and sometimes that’s more than once a day. I don’t do the “big grocery” trip thing, my rule is..I must be able to carry stuff without a trolley.

I do one or two big grocery runs a week and smaller ones when necessary. I could probably cut out the smaller ones if I had SpashShopper and stopped buying milk for my kids.
