Do you use chopsticks with your iPhone?

Every day I find bibs and bobs that make me scratch my head, and often wonder what proportion of free time spawns some of the little applications that I find. Being a musician myself, when I found this little app for iPhone’s today, it really confounded me. iAno is a piano for your iPhone, yeah yeah, turn your iPhone into a baby grand, and hack out some annoying tunes!

Looking at the image, you could easily dismiss it as some good photo editing, it all looks a bit too slick, promotional photo doctored, sort of.

The simulator offers a complete four-octave keyboard (you jump around the keyboard using the arrows at the top of the screen), with polyphonic sound allowing up to five keys to be played simultaneously. its loaded with real piano samples, making it sound just like the real deal.

So I’m not actually pulling your legs with this one, an iPhone software dev called Mister Aardvark has created a working keyboard simulator for the iPhone.

Looks pretty amazing doesn’t it, I’m waiting for the iFiddle, so Patrick and Brandon can duel like in "The Devil went down to Georgia" with their iPhones. This is what a SDK can pump out, for those with obsessive compulsive disorder!
