Now This is Mobile Technology. part 10
A big shout out to all the road warriors out there, and now to some tech to get your munchies’ on whilst your on the road. Most of you will remember the George Foreman grill, and the breathtaking info-mercials, It may not be your “Jesus Grill” but these mobile cooking solutions may whet your appetites and well make you scratch your heads as well, in Wonder of Course! How often on your travels do you find yourself craving a nice cheese toastie, or just need to pep up your yesterday’s sandwiches? Well the solution is nigh!

This little beauty is a 12 volt toaster that will run off of your cigarette lighter socket in the car, now that’s smoking. Now I don’t know about you, but if it’s dangerous to use a mobile phone while driving, what laws does this violate? Is a distracting text, any less than burning your tongue on a hot tomato and mozzarella toasted sandwich, when you’re trying to negotiate that freeway exit and find yourself in the wrong lane? and what about your leather upholstery? Resale value going down, down, down.

So to save your car’s interior, and who want’s those lingering cooking smells in the car anyway, I’ve an alternative option for your on road cuisine adventures. This device is actually well thought out, using the ambient heat from your cars exhaust to cook, if you have a good burger recipe that you like. This does actually make a lot of sense after you get after the “eew ” factor. The food and the exhaust are actually isolated from each other. If you want to take friends on a picnic, and wow them with your culinary prowess, you will have to do some mod’s on your exhaust system.
Really the only limitation for this device, is cooking time estimation, city compared to country/highway driving, I mean if you drive to far the only thing the burger could be used for is a hockey puck. {and we all hate hockey}
