JibJab may be a very fine option.  They have a great selection of very funny ‘Sendables’ animated videos you can get sent off for little or no cost, and almost instantly.

There are various clips that you can add your own and / or your sweetheart’s face to, as well as clips featuring a talking heart, an excellent Shakespeare Presents, a Bill Clinton ‘Love your country like you love a woman’ routine, and my personal favorite, ‘Chocolate Death’.
