Ah HP, You’ve done it again!
Well, does HP stand for Hewlett Packard or Half-arsed Promises? It seems they have a hard time delivering their projected devices on time, if at all. Remember last September, when HP debuted a whole heap of new devices, including the 110 and the 210 classics, there were delays, mix ups and well lot’s of mucking around. Well it seems they’ve lifted their game, cause some definite information about the iPaq 610 series (A.K.A 614, 614c and 600), it’s not coming to the U.S. Aren’t you relieved you won’t have to sweat on when you can pick one of these beauties up.
According to Engadget,
The company didn’t give a lot of information, though they did state that, "due to recent legal issues between suppliers of mobile phone technologies, HP has decided not to offer the iPAQ 610 Business Navigator to U.S. customers as previously planned."
This does not mean it won’t turn up in Europe, Asia or else where, but you would have to say, don’t hold your breath, if you thought this was going to be your Jesus phone, and you live State’s side. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think events like this do much for the company profile, and if HP’s production standards are similair to their marketing standards, I don’t think I’ll be coughing up any dough to bolster the company coffers any time soon!
