Virgin in Space, 2009!

Now you might be trying to pick the (ahem), but really Dr Smith and Will Robinson, probably consummated their relationship back in the late sixties. Looking rather satisfied with themselves, they are! Really who do we think of as the new virgin on the block? Sir Richard Branson of course.

Virgin Galactic is offering a sub orbital flight experience, that takes you high up into the stratosphere, giving you a view of the great blue planet, that is probably only surpassed by going into orbit.

Without trying to be funny I’d call this “pie in the sky”, and you can book now if you want. It’s great in theory, and the idea has been floating around for a while, the less dense the atmosphere the less fuel used to cover the same distance, with higher speeds, therefore cutting travel time.This system is less than perfected, and an optimistic venture into consumer imagination. As yet we are looking at designer renderings, of possible aircraft. I ask you, will you be a virgin in space?
