Last.fm – the social music site / service, has now got Windows Mobile client software available – as a proper application, not just a mobile version of the site.

The new application includes the scrobbling feature, though for now it  only works with Windows Media Player on Windows Mobile Smartphone edition.  For those who’ve never tried Last.fm yet, scrobbling is the software’s ability to identify tracks you listen to and add them to your Last.fm profile.

There are Windows Mobile Professional and Standard versions available – the app requires Windows Mobile 5 or 6, and the .NET Compact Framework 2.0.  The download links are:
