Now This is Mobile Technology! part 8
![]()
This is a really useful idea, kudos to the person that thought of it and all, but, well, they’ve put the cheese into “cheesy” with their marketing and website, that actually gained it an honourable mention. As we all do our best work in a relaxed environment, obviously in our smoking jackets, pipes perched precariously in the corner of our mouths, we hate it when excessive sunlight affects our productivity. There is a solution, and when you visit you can rock out to “I can see clearly now the rain has gone”.
The LapDome is a well thought out idea, it’s a laptop carry case that converts into a shade cover for your laptop enabling you to work in full sunlight, with no degradation of your screens brightness, or reflection. I know it’s a bit hokey, but over at UberGizmo they think this is geek chic. [Ahem] A true fashionista I’m not, but it wasn’t the lapdome that really attracted me to this it was their website, and you should all go and have a look for your viewing pleasure.
This laptop computer carry case transforms into a sheltered, darkened work environment. It offers privacy, security, and protection from the elements, but most of all, computer screen visibility outdoors in the daytime.
View the LapDome Site but be prepared!
