There Is A Revival Coming Soon From Herocraft
I got an email yesterday from my good friend Alexander at Herocraft. I have been reviewing Herocraft games for nearly a year, ever since they released Aqua Ball Rush for Pocket PC. Since that time, I have stuck with Herocraft as they released on winner after another. Together, we learned how to rob a jewelry store, line up colored balls (and then did it again in winter), and even blocked lasers to help Robo free his true love.
In his recent email, Alexander informed me of what may be Herocraft’s most ambitious game yet, Revival, a turn-based, military strategy game. Since I have not had a chance to check this game out yet, let’s take a look at what Alexander had to say in his press release:
Revival is a turn-based military strategy game in the tradition of the world-famous game title, “Civilization”. The player will have to explore continents, direct battles on land and sea, build towns, develop science and uphold the economy of his empire.
Great events take place in the world of Revival: grand empires are created; highly developed states collapse in a flash, science degrades and rises again, brutal wars never end, great wealth is created in the millions but can be lost just as easily… The eternal struggle for power is the mark of this world, and only the best ones will be blessed with absolute rule. Unconquerable general or inborn diplomat? Talented economist or crafty politician? You choose your path to glory in the world of Revival.
Sounds like a fantastic game, but I am afraid we will have to wait until January 15 (two weeks never seemed so long) to check it. Until then, keep an eye on http://smart.herocraft.com/revival for more information, screenshots, and a preview demo.

Great news! I’ve liked most of Herocraft’s games, except for their Adult title.
