You’ve caught us with our pants down. (Not literally)


Yea … so we’re at it again. Making a mess of things to help bring you a bit better layout and improve the way we display the content in our reviews. We’re upgrading to the latest WordPress hopefully to fix those annoying link and RSS issues we’ve been having, and various other things.

And I QUOTE our esteemed leader Patrick:

We’re updated to latest WP version.

Now I am gonna BLEEP up the site’s look for a little bit – coz I can’t get certain things tested without doing it. From what I can see, traffic is real light anyway.

You could write a short, funny post saying we’re BLEEPING with BLEEP again, and we’re sorry, and yes we’re schizophrenic when it comes to themes etc. ….

So there you have it. We’re Bleeping with Bleep ….

NoWire – What don’t you like? Be honest … we can’t fix it if we don’t know.

Pedah – which background? The comments, the regular white or the background on the banner? Again, you don’t say, we can’t fix :)

breley – I think he gets hit with all kinds of bugs. This time it just happened to be shifter :P

Not sure if I like the posts on the left, I was kinda used to reading the most interesting stuff in the middle of the screen.
On the other hand, I do like the minimalistic layout with the thin lines around posts and the small font in the sidebars.

spm – hopefully the left-side placement of posts will grow on you. My thought with this is that the content was getting a little lost when flanked on both sides by sidebars and in a narrower space. This layout feels to me as if content is emphasized more, which was the main goal. We’re still working on it though, so keep your thoughts coming …

Patrick, with the “Feeds” tab opened on the left side of my IE 7 browser, the posts are nicely in the middle of my screen, so that’s quite nice!

spm – glad to hear that works OK for you. Sorry to learn someone has got you at gunpoint and is forcing you to use IE! We’re still tinkering with the theme, but there is a lot that we like about it …
