Sprite Holiday Contest – Last Day


CONTEST DEADLINE: Sunday Dec. 23 at 7:00pm US CST

Most of you know by now that we really like giveaways and contests here at JAMM.  They’re a lot of fun, and a great way for us to say thanks to all of you for visiting the site.

Well … our good friends at Sprite Software were keen to help us keep the contests flowing more than ever during this holiday season.  So we’ve been running this Sprite Terminator giveaway contest *every day* since back on 12/15, and now we’re at our Last Day of this one.  Time flies when you’re giving stuff away!

Terminator protects your data and allows you to locate and remotely wipe your device if its lost or stolen – check out its product page, or have a look at Lauren’s excellent review of Terminator and its GPS integration HERE when you have a chance.

For our daily Sprite Terminator contest we’ve gone with a little bit of a Terminator theme, or at least one loosely based around the Terminator movies and all things relating to ‘termination’.

How To Win:

As usual, it’s very easy to enter – but we’re going to have a slightly different approach on the extra credit / entries side of things.  We’ll offer a new extra credit question / topic each day, but the system will remain the same throughout these daily contests. Here’s how it works:

For one entry in the contest, just add a comment to this post.

For extra credit in Today’s contest – lets make this a bit of a tough one on the last day – if you were forced to choose one of your gadgets to terminate / eliminate today, which gadget would you part with, and why?  We’ll award anywhere between 1-25 extra entries to you depending on how wildly creative and side-splittingly funny we find your responses.

**** NO CONTEST ENTRY ****

My alarm clock. There is a commercial airing in the Netherlands that has an alarm clock that sounds just like mine, and whenever I’m not paying attention to the TV and suddenly hear that, I immediately get the rushed “quickly, get out of bed and start doing this and that” feeling. Not good for ones health.

NONE! AAAGGGH! I’ve been working toward the title of “geek” for most of my life and these gadgets finally help me fit into my geek-wannabe life!

I won accounting competitions in high school — when I wasn’t beating up the bullies who harrassed my tiny brother. The fighting overshadowed the FBLA awards, so people were scared of me (5’4″ thin redhead).

I took accounting and computer programming in college and made dean’s list. I don’t remember much because of the drugs and alcohol. I never made geek status there either.

Air Force for almost 10 years — they asked me to leave after I threatened a 2-star general. He started it and I wasn’t gonna kill him … (girly-man)

Now I’m a tattoo artist. Nobody believes I’m a geek. “Wow, your so cool,” they say. I’m a geek! I want to be a hacker!

The gadgets are mine!!!!
