Sprite Holiday Contest – Day 7

CONTEST DEADLINE: Friday Dec. 21 at 5:00pm US CST

Most of you know by now that we really like giveaways and contests here at JAMM.  They’re a lot of fun, and a great way for us to say thanks to all of you for visiting the site.

Well … our good friends at Sprite Software are keen to help us keep the contests flowing more than ever during this holiday season.  So we’re going to be running a Sprite Terminator giveaway contest *every day* all the way through to December 23rd.  Terminator protects your data and allows you to locate and remotely wipe your device if its lost or stolen – check out its product page, or have a look at Lauren’s excellent review of Terminator and its GPS integration HERE when you have a chance.

Every day from here to 12/23, we’ll have one winner and one copy of Sprite’s excellent Terminator program – and possibly some Sprite Archie winners as well as we go along.  Then on the 24th, we’ll do our monthly Sprite Backup contest again.

For our daily Sprite Terminator contest we’re going to go with a little bit of a Terminator theme, or at least one loosely based around the Terminator movies and all things relating to ‘termination’.

How To Win:

As usual, it’s very easy to enter – but we’re going to have a slightly different approach on the extra credit / entries side of things.  We’ll offer a new extra credit question / topic each day, but the system will remain the same throughout these daily contests. Here’s how it works:

For one entry in the contest, just add a comment to this post.

For extra credit in Today’s contest, tell us what you think is The Worst Movie Ever – one that really should have been terminated way before it ever hit a big or even small screen!   We’ll award anywhere between 1-25 extra entries to you depending on how wildly creative and side-splittingly funny we find your responses.

Good luck …

By entering this contest, you authorize Just Another Mobile Monday, and its representatives, to provide your personal information (such as, but not limited to your name and email address) to the sponsors of this contest should you be selected as a winner. Your personal information will not be sold by Just Another Mobile Monday, or otherwise retained for any purpose except that described herein.

My vote goes to the erotic sequel to the thriller Basic Instinct (BI) (oops did I say erotic or neurotic)… BI2 is a very lame sequel to its predecessor – 1) with a confusing and rather empty plot that lacks appeal, 2)a Sharon that is trying her best to stir you on for the 2nd time but nothing materialises despite her multiple attempts, 3) all elements of thrill and style are missing.
Overall, I find that it is at best a candid remake of the first BI, with change in the lead male cast, with everything else remaining the same, except that it has been coated with, not a layer of veneer but raw paint. :-P

Rocky Balboa (2006).

Yuck.

Actually, any sequel should be nixed. Most of the time, a sequel can not have the same impact that the original had. Special effects and slightly different storylines do not help the regurgitation.

Another thing. Everynight, I check in here and see this contest. I get off from work around 7:00pm EST. Contest has ended. I finally notice that the daily contest ends at 5:00pm CST. I usually don’t check the web in the morning, but here I am. Now… the punchline….

This contest Terminates too early!

I would vote for Uwe Boll’s movies – quality of his production is abysmal and decreasing. His “best” movie is Alone in the Dark. My my all time worst movie charts leader. They would do better if they scraped it right after it was shot.

The whole 10 yards is 1 yard too many compared to the first release. Again like what Stephen said, sequels seldom make good. From the messy plot to the forced humour, to out of place characters, this movie ought to be pre-screened the full 9 yards before being released. And chances are, it won’t survive the full 9 yards. So it should be terminated before it hits the big screen!!!
