I have been a long-time supporter of SoftMaker because of the amazing PPC version of their word processor and spreadsheet. Dutifully upgraded both desktop and PPC versions as they were released as I really wanted the ability to use my Tosh e800 as a laptop replacement.
But I am having a hard time finding a reason to justify upgrading to this latest update which is for XP and Vista boxes only. Without a compelling PPC upgrade I don’t see what this offers that the free “Open Office” doesn’t already.
Can anyone give me a nudge as to why I should fork over a little more cash to SoftMaker?
