DDH Software Launches HanDBase 4.0

Posted by: Ravi on Dec 18 2007

DDH Software, Inc. is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the announcement of a major update to its HanDBase relational database application for Access OS (Palm OS/Treo), Windows Mobile Classic and Professional (Pocket PC), Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone), BlackBerry and Symbian S60 devices.

Version 4.0 includes a host of new synchronization features, a deeper level of security, and a myriad of user interface and database design enhancements.

Here are some of the new features :

Encryption Password Caching - When you open a database, the password you entered is optionally remembered and then used for subsequent saves/closes of the database.
Auto Close Feature - Optionally set program to auto close all open databases when there is no activity for some time. When used with the Encryption Password Caching option, this means any encrypted databases would also be re-encrypted and then closed.
128 bit encryption - Now encrypts with 128 bit Safer-SK encryption for increased security and tamper proofing.
Memory Card Databases syncing - Support for syncing databases stored in memory cards within HanDBase Conduit.
Microsoft Vista support - for syncing with Vista’s Mobile Device Center.

Check here to see all the new features. You can buy it from DDH Software or from JAMM Store at a discounted price of $29.99. Make sure to select appropriate version before buying as they offer it for almost all the mobile environments.
