Sprite Holiday Contest – Day 3

CONTEST DEADLINE: Monday December 17 at 5:00pm US CST

Most of you know by now that we really like giveaways and contests here at JAMM.  They’re a lot of fun, and a great way for us to say thanks to all of you for visiting the site.

Well … our good friends at Sprite Software are keen to help us keep the contests flowing more than ever during this holiday season.  So we’re going to be running a Sprite Terminator giveaway contest *every day* all the way through to December 23rd.  Terminator protects your data and allows you to locate and remotely wipe your device if its lost or stolen – check out its product page, or have a look at Lauren’s excellent review of Terminator and its GPS integration HERE when you have a chance.

Every day from here to 12/23, we’ll have one winner and one copy of Sprite’s excellent Terminator program – and possibly some Sprite Archie winners as well as we go along.  Then on the 24th, we’ll do our monthly Sprite Backup contest again.

For our daily Sprite Terminator contest we’re going to go with a little bit of a Terminator theme, or at least one loosely based around the Terminator movies and all things relating to ‘termination’.

How To Win:

As usual, it’s very easy to enter – but we’re going to have a slightly different approach on the extra credit / entries side of things.  We’ll offer a new extra credit question / topic each day, but the system will remain the same throughout these daily contests. Here’s how it works:

For one entry in the contest, just add a comment to this post.

For extra credit in Today’s contest, let’s hear about a tech product you would really like to terminate right now – the one you’d kill off with no hesitation if you had the chance. We’ll award anywhere between 1-25 extra entries to you depending on how wildly creative and side-splittingly funny we find your responses.

Good luck …

By entering this contest, you authorize Just Another Mobile Monday, and its representatives, to provide your personal information (such as, but not limited to your name and email address) to the sponsors of this contest should you be selected as a winner. Your personal information will not be sold by Just Another Mobile Monday, or otherwise retained for any purpose except that described herein.

Three-in-one styluses!
Very flakey, breaking easily, don’t fit into their silo and not such great pens either.

I would vote for cell phones. They made me hate some of my favorite songs (my roommate at the dorm used the song on the mobile phone as an alarm ring tone), they are like electronic leaches that will never loosen the grip (I have climbed 8000 feet mountain to find out that on the top I can get signal of networks from 5 different countries), they are hard to destroy – like the original terminator (I think it was last month sprite contest where there was a question about worst thing ever happened to your PPC – and there were stories like “my phone fell to the toilet, so I picked it up and dried in the oven(!) and it worked”(!!)) and lastly since I bought my first Pocket PC it stole a huge amount of my free (and even work) time (I think I am seriously addicted to it :D )
There surely are other reasons why it should be cell phones but these are the few that came on my mind just now ;)

I will not hesitate to kill off my wireless router which does not give me good signal power most of the time, and many a times, causing me to be an accidental war-driving criminal, as my laptop will pick up my neighbour’s wireless signals instead of that from my own router (of course without me realising it)…sigh…so JAMM, please run a contest with the grand prize of a wireless router, so that my days as an accidental wardriver can be over soon…
