Over recent weeks there have been quite a few ‘Best Of …’ lists out around the web, and there are plenty more coming.  There may even be a few where the iPhone is *not* named best gadget / thing / invention since fire.

So right around now it’s nice to see a list that’s a little different, or maybe I’m just a sucker for the ‘Worst Of …’ lists.  In any case, I quite like Mashable’s short but sweet listing of this year’s 5 biggest tech villains.

Most of the names on the short list will probably not come as a big surprise, and I agree with most of the reasoning behind the selections.  I think my only big change would be placing Facebook at the Number 1 slot.  I really think their recent trampling of users’ privacy is horrendous and has probably not got enough attention.
