Thanks to all who jumped in for Day 1 on this – and for all the funny and shocking replies A *whole lot* of extra credit was doled out, including a full 10 extra entries for Effrin, Kim, Maegan, and Consul. 

Despite all that, the winner for Day 1 (who pulled out the victory despite *only* getting 5 extra credits) is:

Our runner-up, who sadly gets nothing more than our unflinching admiration, is Consul - for the boss not knowing the contract expired!!! – my favorite amongst a number of great responses.  Here’s hoping Day 2 is just as lively …
